Growing up, Dr. Cast’s academic prowess quickly became evident during his time at the GATE Program at Alice Vail Junior High, followed by University High (located on the Tucson High campus) in Tucson, Arizona. However, his final year of high school took an unexpected turn when his family relocated to Tennessee. Undeterred, he embraced the challenge and joined the United States Army, where he selflessly served in the Medical Corps, humbly contributing to the well-being of others. He received training as a combat medic, nurse, and in the field of epidemiology. He also served globally as Light Fighter, in a RDF (Rapid Deployment Force) division.

Education has always been a cornerstone of Dr. Cast’s journey. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, laying the foundation for his intellectual pursuits. Determined to expand his knowledge further, he pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix. Not stopping there, he embarked on a rigorous academic endeavor, earning a Ph.D. from Capella University in Organizational Management. His dissertation, titled “Risk homeostasis in crew resource management: Correlations between individual and paired risk propensities in two-pilot crews,” showcases his dedication to exploring complex topics at the intersection of technology management and psychology. Beyond his academic pursuits, Dr. Cast’s diverse experiences have shaped his multifaceted persona. He once soared through the skies as a commercial pilot and FAA Certified Flight Instructor, instilling confidence and knowledge in aspiring aviators. 

Additionally, he has showcased his creative talents by writing a series of best-selling children’s books known as “The Clever Calvin Series.” Published by Barrons in New York, these captivating stories have transcended language barriers, being translated into several languages. 

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Cast has shared his wisdom and expertise as an esteemed instructor at various universities. His passion for imparting knowledge and guiding aspiring minds has made a profound impact on countless students fortunate enough to learn from him.

In 2009, Dr. Cast’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Delta Trading Group, Inc. ,a pioneering platform that has revolutionized the trading landscape. Recognizing the pitfalls of following so-called trading gurus, he championed a new approach centered around group consensus. By fostering an environment where traders can come together daily to analyze trades collectively, Delta Trading Group empowers individuals and debunks the myths propagated by fake trading experts.
